In this live session, Polly Chen Smith (Playlab) demos how districts can turn the Illinois AI Challenge into a chance for students to build real AI web apps, grounded in their own curriculum (not just generic chatbots), with the goal of getting students creating (not just consuming).

Educators will get to try out and experience apps built by students and learn how to use Playlab to create similar apps. Educators will get access to Playlab in this workshop, and can reach out after the session about bringing Playlab to their own schools.

This is part of a professional learning series to support participants of the AI Illinois Challenge. However, participation is open to all educators.
